Kacper Lopata gave his reaction to the Reds' 2-1 defeat against Blackpool on Tuesday night.
The 22-year-old made his first start for the Reds since sustaining a shoulder injury at Northampton back in September.
Lopata was impressed with how the team started the match but expressed his frustration with the result on his return.
"I think in the first half we dominated," began the Pole. "We didn't give them a sniff, we got a good goal. Second half, we just fell off. Just simply not good enough.
"Today is a bitter-sweet feeling," he continued. "I hate losing, I hate conceding goals. I'm happy to be back playing and playing football again. It's what I love doing most, defending and heading footballs. Bitter-sweet."
