All media requests to attend our first team matches here at Oakwell regardless of competition can be made online through the DataCo Press Accreditation booking system, via i-PBS. Please note, all media requests must be received at least 48 hours before kick-off.

You will be unable to apply via i-PBS after this point and the Club will not accept requests made direct to the Club after the deadline.

The Club operates a barcoded ticketing system for entry to the stadium. Tickets and passes will be available for collection from Gate 40 of the West Stand, no earlier than two hours prior to kick-off. If for any reason you need to gain entry to the stadium earlier, please contact the Media Team no later than 48 hours prior to the fixture you're attending, where plans to accommodate your needs can be set in place.

All journalists and photographers must have a Media Accreditation number provided by DataCo and provide their relevant identification when requested by Barnsley Football Club staff in and around Oakwell.

Entrance to the stadium is via Gate 40 of the West Stand. This is the entrance on Grove Street closest to the away end where you will be greeted by our staff who will check any bags you have brought with you, which will be tagged for safety purposes. You will then be handed the appropriate pass, a copy of the match programme and a complimentary goodie bag. Food and drink will be served in the Press Room.

Limited parking for press and media personnel is available in the South Stand Car Park upon prior request, on a first come, first served basis.

Matchday

As well as your ticket, you will receive a Barnsley Football Club accreditation pass. This must be shown upon request when you are inside the stadium. Your pass will include the areas of access you have been granted throughout the matchday. Please respect this.

Free refreshments will be available upon your arrival, with Sky Sports TV inside the Press Room.

The Head Coach/Manager of both teams will be brought up to the Press Room post-match. Written press should remain there for the press conferences to begin.

Radio/TV journalists will be instructed by members of the Media Team as to where they can interview players and staff.

Pre-Match Press Conferences
