A familiar taste to many Reds fans, Acorn Brewery will be at this weekend’s Beer Fest.
Born and bred in Wombwell, Acorn's mission is simple; "to enrich their customers with mouth watering, quality tasting beers, whilst providng exceptional level of customer service and support."
Acorn Brewery is renowned for brewing excellent beers that represent their pride and passion and have never used the same hop twice, despite having brewed over 125 different single hopped IPA’s.
Since producing their first award winning Barnsley Bitter, Acorn have gone from strength to strength, introducing six core beers to their range and amassing over 50 awards for the quality of its cask and bottled beers.
Try this weekend;
Barnsley Gold – This award winning beer has good bitterness levels, with a fresh citrus and hop aroma. A hoppy flavour throughout with a well hopped clean, dry finish. A CAMRA Champion beer of Britain Finalist in 2004.
Yorkshire Pride – Light golden ale with well balanced creamy malt and good bitterness. Bags full of whole hops for the aroma impart a grassy, citrus aroma.
