Six goals were shared in this Under 21s clash between the Reds and Crewe on a sunny yet cold Barnsley Academy pitch.

Danny Rose sent the Reds into a two-goal lead with two fine headers before the visitors turned the game on its head to make it 3-2.

As well as hitting the woodwork on four occasions, the Reds also saw a penalty saved as Danny Rose was denied his hat-trick from the spot.

With eight minutes left, Jordan Clark stepped up to a 23-yard free-kick to bend into the top corner and make it 3-3.
