CHILDREN'S TICKETS

For safety and security reasons, children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. This policy ensures that young fans are supervised while attending matches at Oakwell.

The accompanying adult must have a valid ticket for the same match. This adult can be a parent, guardian, or another responsible adult.

When purchasing tickets for an under 14, it is required to purchase the adult ticket simultaneously to ensure the accompaniment rule is followed.

Barnsley FC designates a specific family-friendly section within the stadium. This area is tailored for families and provides a more suitable environment for young children.

DISABLED SUPPORTERS

Areas of Oakwell are designed to provide accessibility and comfort for all supporters. The stadium offers several designated areas for wheelchair users and other fans with disabilities. These areas are situated in the South Stand and the North Stand, ensuring good visibility of the pitch, while the ground floor of the Corner Stand is dedicated to our disabled supporters.

Wheelchair spaces are available, each accompanied by a seat for a companion, ensuring that fans can enjoy the game with their friends or family. We also provide accessible toilet facilities close to these seating areas, which are equipped with the necessary features to accommodate different disabilities.

Additionally, Barnsley FC provides headsets for visually impaired supporters, allowing them to listen to match commentary during the game.

Parking facilities include dedicated disabled parking bays close to the stadium entrance, making it convenient for fans with mobility issues to access the stadium. These spaces can be reserved in advance to ensure availability on matchdays.

Staff members at Oakwell are trained to provide support and ensure that all fans have a pleasant and inclusive matchday experience.

COMPLIMENTARY SANITARY PRODUCTS

Complimentary sanitary products are available in all female and accessible toilets across Oakwell. We teamed up with 'period poverty' campaign group 'On The Ball' to ensure we supplied free period products at Oakwell, becoming the first club in the country to implement this back in 2018.

Barnsley FC is intent on providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors who attend matches. By prioritising inclusivity and safety, we aim to create an atmosphere where every fan feels valued and can contribute to the vibrant spirit of Oakwell.
