JOE ACKROYD
Tough tackling, creative and with a keen eye for goal, Joe has been part of the Oakwell academy since joining as a 10-year-old in November 2012.
The combative midfielder signed his first year scholar in summer 2019, but had already made a fine impression with a number of composed displays in our U18s side during the 2018/19 Professional Development League campaign.
Ackroyd made his Reds debut in January of 2022, appearing in the FA Cup against Barrow, before spending time on-loan in the Czech Republic with MFK Vyškov.
