TOBY SIBBICK
Following a breakthrough season with AFC Wimbledon, highly-rated youngster Toby Sibbick joined the Reds in the summer of 2019.
Able to play in both full back and central defensive positions, Sibbick left The Dons after five years of development and 31 games during the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One campaign and was a regular under Daniel Stendel until his departure in October of 2019.
With game-time lacking under new boss Gerhard Struber, in January of 2020 the utility man linked back up with Stendel when he joined Hearts on a loan deal until the end of the 2019/20 season.
Sibbick returned to Oakwell in the summer of 2020, but only briefly, as he then joined Belgian outfit KV Oostende on a season-long loan deal. A loan-spell that bore no fruit as he failed to make an appearance beore returning in the winter transfer window.
His re-emergence under Valérien Ismaël was one of the shocks of the season, playing himself into first team contention and helping the Reds into the end-of-season play-offs.
