MATTY JAMES
Returned to Oakwell in October of 2020 in a short-term loan-deal, from Premier League outfit Leicester City.
James was outstanding in a previous loan-stint for the Reds back in 2017.
A mainstay of the Leicester side that won the Championship title in 2014 and pivotal the following year as the Foxes fought for survival in the Premier League.
Injury halted his progress as he watched on from the sidelines as Leicester surprised the world to lift the Premier League title in 2016.
Those injury problems have plagued him for a number of years now but he returns to Barnsley hoping to re-energise a career that was once tipped for the very top.
