JORDAN HELLIWELL

Barnsley’s 2017/18 Academy Player of the Year, Jordan has progressed through the ranks since joining the Club in April 2012 as a ten-year-old.

Capable of playing anywhere across the backline or in midfield, there are high hopes for the youngster who featured for our U23s side during the 2018/19 campaign.

He made his first team debut on 13 November 2018, coming on as a late substitute against Bradford City in a 2-1 victory in the Checkatrade Trophy at Oakwell.

Jordan's impressive performances at academy level resulted in him joining the first team on pre-season training in France and Germany ahead of the 2019/20 campagn.

Helliwell joined Esbjerg fB of Denmark on loan in the summer of 2021.
