GAVIN WALKER

A graduate of Leeds University having studied Sports Science & Physiology (BSc), Gavin also gained an MSc in Physiotherapy at Leeds Met. 

Having practiced private physiotherapy at the start of his career, Walker also worked part-time with Barnsley Rugby Union for three years, before joining the academy here at Oakwell, also on a part-time basis. 

He would later head up the academy's physiotherapy department before making the step up to first team level in October of 2021. 

Gav is a keen runner and has taken part in a number of charity races, including the London Marathon.
