Signed in the summer of 2017 from Forest Green Rovers, Pinnock has a growing reputation and all the attributes to make his mark further up the football pyramid.
Having played close to 150 games for local outfit Dulwich Hamlet, Ethan then spent a hugely successful solo year with Forest Green, playing a key part in their promotion to the Football League in 2017.
It was this form that saw the Reds swoop for his services, acquiring the talented, left-footed defender on a three-year deal.
Ethan had to be very patient in his first season at Oakwell, only breaking into the side due to injuries towards the end of 2017, with consecutive man of the match performances and back-to-back goals bringing him seriously to the first team fore.
But it wasn't until relegation and a new manager in Daniel Stendel, during the Sky Bet League One promotion campaign of 2018/19 that fans saw Ethan regularly, as he played in every league fixture, winning promotion and being named the club's Player of the Season.
Also voted into the EFL and PFA Team of the Year for his outstanding 2018/19 campaign.
