DANI PINILLOS
Spanish left-back Dani Pinillos joined the Reds in the January transfer window of 2018, signing a two-and-a-half year deal with Barnsley from Spanish Segunda Liga side, Cordoba.
No stranger to England, Dani had previously spent a productive couple of years with Nottingham Forest.
Battling it out with fellow left-back Zeki Fryers since his arrival, Pinillos's cultured left foot, his composure in possession and wholehearted attitude have seen him feature regularly for the Reds.
Unable to prevent the side's relegation in 2018, Pinillos was a first team regular in his second season, registering seven assists from left-back as Barnsley gained automatic promotion.
