After his own career as a footballer with his hometown club was ended through injury at a young age, Craig Sedgwick decided to swap roles.
As Head Physio, Craig is practically on call 24 hours a day, and works closely alongside the first team management and sports science department to try and prevent injuries as well as helping players to overcome them.
'Sedgy' started as Academy Physio in 2008 after gaining experience with Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, and took over as Head Physiotherapist ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.
With a degree in (BSc) Physiotherapy and a masters (MSc) in Sports Physiotherapy, Craig is currently studying for a masters (MSc) in Strength & Conditioning at St Mary's University.
