CONOR GRANT
Irish youth international Conor Grant joined the Reds on loan during the Winter transfer window of the 2023/24 season, from MK Dons, with Barnsley holding the option to make the move permanent upon its completion in the summer of 2024.
Grant left Dublin as a teenager to join the academy setup at Sheffield Wednesday and a couple of years later - at the age of 19 - he made his professional debut for the Owls against Rochdale as a substitute.
That would be his only appearance in the steel city before joining Rochdale on a two-and-a-half year deal in February of 2021. Over 50 appearances later, Conor's form saw him snapped up by MK Dons.
Voted the Dons' Young Player of the Year in his debut campaign, he was out of favour in 23/24 when the Reds took him on-loan to add to Neill Collins' midfield options.
