Date of birth
Diminutive forward Conor Chaplin became the Reds' 10th signing of the summer in 2019 ahead of Barnsley's return to the Championship.
Small in stature, but made big waves at first with hometown club Portsmouth and then at Coventry City, before signing a four-year deal at Oakwell.
The pint-sized striker started slowly at Oakwell before exploding into form once Gerhard Struber was appointed, going on to score 8 times in 11 matches as the Reds ended 2019 in impressive fashion.
A key performer under Struber, Chaplin played a huge part in the Reds securing their Championship status against all odds.
He was asked to play a slightly different role under Valérien Ismaël, operating as more of a wide forward in 2020/21, as the Reds reached the Sky Bet Championship play-off semi-finals.
