ROBBIE CUNDY
Released by Aston Villa as a youngster, Robbie would begin his professional career with hometown club, Oxford United but failed to make an appearances for them.
Loan spells in the non-league system helped him develop, before two great years with both Gloucester City and Bath City brought him to the attention of Bristol City, where he would spend the next three years.
His time at Ashton Gate saw him again loaned out, with spells at Cambridge United, Torquay United and Gillingham where he earned rave reviews.
Cundy would force himself into the reckoning during the 21/22 season at Bristol City, a regular in defence by the end of that season, but he turned down a new contract in favour of making the switch to Oakwell.
A regular pick for much of the first half of the season, putting in commendable displays in the Barnsley backline and grabbing a couple of important goals, Cundy saw the second half of his season disrupted by injury, as the Reds made the Play-Offs.
