Our U11s are taking part in the City Cup this weekend!
The tournament takes place at the Manchester City Academy on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May, with our fledgling Reds facing the likes of Chelsea, Juventus, Feyenoord, Genk, Anderlecht and Yokahama Marinos – as well as the competition’s hosts.
Assistant Youth Development Lead Phase Coach, Tiago Rodrigues said: “It is a great opportunity for the U11s and a great exposure for the academy and Club to be playing against big European and International teams.
“It is going to be a great weekend of football and we are extremely proud of our boys and happy for the experience.”
Up first for the youngsters are Chelsea, with that fixture kicking off at 9am.
Supporters are welcome to attend at the City Football Academy this weekend.
