Jordan Williams gave his post-match reaction to iFollow Barnsley after the Reds lost out to Lincoln City at Oakwell.
The Reds conceded five on Saturday afternoon against a rampant Lincoln side, with Adam Phillips netting a consolation in the 77th minute.
Williams expressed his disappointment with the outcome of the game, but emphasised the importance of getting back on the horse with games still to play in the division.
"It's very tough for us," said the skipper. "For the performances that we've been putting in, I thought it was very below par for us today and we got punished, a lot. We've just got to look at the bigger picture. It's three points. It's not the end of the season and we've got to pick ourselves up fast because we've got another game on Tuesday night and we can get three points there. We've got to rally together and stay together. It's not nice to lose a game, especially in that manner. We'll pick ourselves up and go again."
