LIAM ROBERTS AHEAD OF BOLTON CLASH

4 March 2024

Liam Roberts answered questions from the media ahead of the Reds' midweek clash with Bolton Wanderers in Sky Bet League One.

ON CHARACTER SHOWN AT WYCOMBE

"Massive. We've come from behind in a couple of games now so the character in the team is really good. The ruthlessness and togetherness is definitely there so to come from behind is something special. We've done it quite a few times now. We'd not like to concede first in any of those games, but it just shows the resilience in the group to overcome it and come back."

PLAYING IN A TEAM FULL OF CONFIDENCE

"It's class, I love it. The goals are coming from everywhere. We've got Devante who is absolutely flying, doing really well. People are chipping in with goals around the club. It's nice, it takes a bit of pressure off him. Everyone is behind everyone to keep going and keep impressing. Take each game as it comes."

ON WORKING WITH HIS DEFENCE & INTRODUCTION OF EARL AND PINES

"The pair of them have been a credit to themselves. They've come into the team and they've really stamped their authority on it. Both of them have come in and looked like they've been in it all season. It's a credit to themselves. We'll be on the training pitch and we'll play attack v defence etc. Creating those relationships as often and as quick as we possibly can to implement it out on the pitch."

ON BOLTON WANDERERS

"It's going to be an incredible game for the neutral. They're an incredible attacking team, so are we. It's going to be high tempo, lots of passes, chances created, it's going to be a hell of a game to watch. We just need to stick to what we're doing, day in day out and just focus on that game. We can't get too far ahead of what other people are doing. We'll just look forward to these next 90 minutes ahead."
