Our Head Coach spoke to the media ahead of the visit of Cheltenham Town.
ON LIAM ROBERTS' INJURY
"He's progressing, he'll definitely be in contention for the weekend. In the warm-up he felt it so it said a lot about him that he was able to play in the game against Lincoln. He just wasn't fit, simple as that.
"Everyone came through the game well. No concerns from Tuesday night."
ON PORTSMOUTH POSTPONEMENT
"It hasn't altered our thinking. The week leading up to Portsmouth was enough time for everyone to regroup. Of course it was our fifth game in two weeks but the players took a lot of confidence from the other night. At home, we're all raring to get the opportunity to put right last weekend's game and also continue their form which has been excellent."
ON CHELTENHAM TOWN
"[on expectation to beat Carlisle] That's what made the game really hard and so difficult on Tuesday night. I thought it was not one you'd ideally want because expectation is that we should go and beat them, and it's just not like that.
"Cheltenham are very aggressive against the ball, aggressive with how they want to play. Baring in mind, I don't think they'd scored a goal in the opening 11 games, Darrell has managed to get them scoring, get them winning games. They're going to ask a lot of questions, they're going to make us defend. Things that we've dealt with this year, and dealing with the expectations, something that I think we've had to deal with all season to varying degress of success. But if we can implement a lot of the things we did the other night, we'll be able to put on a good performance."
