The Reds defender spoke to the media ahead of Tuesday night's match-up with Carlisle United in Sky Bet League One at Oakwell.
ON START AGAINST BRISTOL ROVERS
"It was good, I enjoyed it. It's been a while, but you've got to keep yourself fit when you get chances like that, it was good to get back out there.
"I thought we played well. Obviously, we had spells in the game where we could have played better but I thought in the first half we played well, set our structure, stuck to our game plan and I thought it really came off. In the second half we ended up getting the three points and that's the main thing really."
ON MOMENTUM OF THE TEAM
"You've just got to take it game by game, keep winning. As long as you keep winning, that's all you need to focus on, yourselves. Who knows where you can end up. The main focus is taking it game by game, winning each game and seeing where it takes you from there."
ON INTRODUCTION INTO THE TEAM
"They are good at that, Barnsley. Giving young players a chance. We do have a young squad and I think we've also got a good squad. They give young players opportunities and chances. I've been given plenty of those this season, whether it be in the league or the cup. It's up to you then."
ON CARLISLE UNITED
"Every team is a good opposition. We just need to stick to our game plan, do what we do well and get the three points. Focusing on what we do well, doing the right things, playing well and get the three points."
