On Thursday afternoon, we held our second Luncheon here in the Copier Systems Legends Suite at Oakwell, where older members of our fanbase were able to enjoy a delicious sit down meal in view of the famous pitch.
Following the success of our Christmas luncheon last month, the menu this time was fish and chips, with a sumptuous crumble dessert for the price of just £5 per person – and it’s safe to say that we had plenty of satisfied diners once more!
In attendance, as ever, was the iconic Barry Murphy, who hosted the event and spoke with the 150 or so guests as they arrived at our hospitality sector, and some familiar faces from within the Barnsley FC community – Hospital Radio’s Phil Hall and Alan Smith of Red All Over to name a couple – while Director, Jean Cryne, also paid a visit to see the fruition of her original concept and speak to supporters.
With more luncheons in the pipeline, keep an eye out for future dates which will be announced on our website and social media channels in due course.
