Adam Phillips spoke to the media as the Reds prepare to face Bristol Rovers at Oakwell on Saturday.
ON RETURNING TO ACTION THIS SATURDAY
"It's been a couple of weeks now, it was a nice little break. To have a few days off, especially with the Christmas period that we had, obviously a lot of games. But I'm looking forward to getting back going on Saturday."
ON HALFWAY POINT OF THE SEASON
"We're in a really good position. There are obviously still lots of things to improve on, I feel like we could have had a lot more points than we do have, but it's always good to have something to work on. We've had a lot of time on the training pitch, so hopefully we can learn from our mistakes. It's good to get on the training pitch, work on it, then push on for the second half of the season."
ON RECENT GOALS AND GETTING OFF THE MARK
"I spoke to someone and said it was like a weight off my shoulders. I think because I got such good numbers last year, there was a lot of expectation. But I never really lost it, I felt like I was doing well in training and scoring goals. It was just transferring it to a Saturday. I feel like I can still get the same numbers as last year. We've still got a lot of games to go, so I've just got to keep going and build on my December."
ON BRISTOL ROVERS
"They're a good team. They've got a lot of good players. I know a couple of their players, obviously I know that Luke Thomas was here last year, good player. It will be a good test. We've obviously had a couple of weeks off so we'll be refreshed and ready to go."
