It’s our second home game in a matter of days as we entertain Carlisle United on Tuesday evening, looking to build on our Sky Bet League One victory over Bristol Rovers at the weekend.

That means there’s an edition of OAKWELL REVIEW available for you to enjoy reading and add to your collection.

Our cover star and main interview for this particular issue is NICKY CADDEN, who assessed the Reds’ season so far while also reflecting on the similarities between the current and previous campaigns.

The Scot also discusses what has been a whirlwind 12 or so months for himself personally, highlighting his experiences of fatherhood, which he is loving every moment of.

We also spoke with BARNSLEY FC WOMEN’s coach JESS HORSLEY following their fine start to the New Year as they overcame Hull United 2-0 on Sunday.

As well as giving her thoughts on the season as a whole and her team’s prospects for the coming months, Jess praises the introduction of video analysis – an area that she believes has been hugely beneficial for performance.

There are the traditional pages dedicated to our visitors from Cumbria as we take a look at 12 players who have represented both sides, plus a focus on key personnel from within the United camp.

Refresh yourself on past meetings in this fixture, while football historian LEIGH EDWARDS pinpoints 10 former Carlisle players who came from non-league in his insightful column.

You can also keep yourself up to date with facts and figures from across the division and within the Reds’ camp at first team and academy level.

Get to know more about MATTY WOLFE and his favourite things and find out who made JOSH MCKAY’s Ultimate Five-A-Side team.

All of this and more in your Carlisle United edition of OAKWELL REVIEW, which can be bought from our dedicated programme sellers around the ground or from the Box Office.

Alternatively, order yours online.
