Our Head Coach gave his assessment of the Reds' 1-0 victory over Oxford United on Tuesday night.
We made it eleven games unbeaten in Sky Bet League One and secured a valuable three points at the Kassam Stadium after a combination of Devante Cole and U's defender Sam Long turned the ball home in the first-half to win the game for the Reds.
In windy conditions under the lights, the Reds remained resolute and saw out the win despite a number of absentees within the matchday squad.
Collins spoke of his pride in his players' performance on Tuesday night:
"I'm proud of the team tonight. Proud of the togetherness. Proud of the performance. I thought it was a well deserved three points in very difficult conditions. Also, in difficult circumstances with the players we had out and the players we had carrying injuries. The players should be proud and I'm sure the fans are proud of the team tonight."
