Our Head Coach spoke to iFollow Barnsley following our 2-1 defeat to Exeter City at Oakwell on Saturday.
Two goals inside the first half for the Grecians courtesy of Jack Aitchison and Reece Cole gave the Reds an uphill battle going into the second half.
Maël de Gevigney pegged one back for the Reds late on with a stooped header, but it was too late for Collins' side to salvage anything from the side.
The Scotsman gave his appraisal of the match:
"Extremely disappointing. There are a lot of words to describe that first half - all of them are horrific. It was poor in every aspect. The only player that got pass marks in the first half was Maël de Gevigney, he kind of held us together.
"Against Carlisle, we had a 45 minutes, but that was three or four individual errors. Other than that, we were very average. Tonight, in all aspects, Exeter were better than us until the second half."
