Neill Collins gave his take on the Reds' 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers for iFollow Barnsley.
Barnsley made it nine games unbeaten in the league with victory over the Gas on Saturday afternoon at Oakwell.
Devante Cole opened the scoring with his 15th goal of the season, before the Reds were pegged back in the second half by a Chris Martin header for the visitors.
However, Corey O'Keeffe secured the three points for the Reds with a cool, slotted finish in front of the Ponty End in the 73rd minute.
Our Head Coach was pleased with his side's showing against a resolute opposition:
"I really recognised how tough this game was going to be. Norwich, last week in the FA Cup were lucky to take them (Bristol Rovers) to a replay. That tells you the quality that we're facing. It says a lot about our first-half performance, where we were so dominant. We really should have been ahead by more. We caused our own issues a couple of times but generally we were very good. A huge three points and credit to the players."
We can make it ten unbeaten in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday night when we welcome Carlisle United to Oakwell.
