Adam Phillips gave his post-match reaction to Barnsley vs Derby County for iFollow Barnsley.
Our number 30 scored a back-to-back brace at Oakwell to secure a big three points for the Reds in Sky Bet League One against fellow promotion rivals Derby County.
Despite going behind in the first half to a Sonny Bradley header, Phillips levelled things up with a sumptuous half-volley from 20 yards before the break, adding to his tally with the match-winner after rising highest from a dangerous Nicky Cadden corner delivery.
The 26-year-old stated the importance of the result over the personal accolade of notching two goals once again at Oakwell.
"Absolutely delighted," beamed our central midfielder. "Another two goals for myself, personally happy with that. But the main thing is to get three points which we wanted to do from the start. We knew it was quite a big game, it is just only three points but it's a good win for us but something to keep going with and push up the league."
