Corey O'Keeffe wins January's Goal of the Month award!
For his winning goal against Bristol Rovers, our wing-back scoops January's accolade in association with NG Decor!
Against the Pirates, the 25-year-old picked the ball up on the right-hand side following excellent work by Adam Phillips on the edge of the area, and first-time O'Keeffe slid home in front of the Ponty End to seal all three points for the Reds.
The Irish youth international discussed the goal and how a conversation in training may have helped create the winning moment:
"Thanks to all the fans for voting, it means a lot. Let's kick on now and have another big month.
"It was a big goal for us. I think we were on top against them. It came at a good time and ended up being the winner. Great assist from Phillo (Adam Phillips) and it was a good all-round goal to be honest. Phillo did really well to stay composed and luckily I squeezed it in."
