Discover how our Reds away from Oakwell got on over the weekend for their respective loan clubs.

Callum Styles made his debut for Sunderland since his arrival on deadline day, playing 60 minutes against Swansea City at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats lost 2-1 and next up face a trip to Norwich City on Saturday in the Sky Bet Championship.

Kyran Lofthouse started for MK Dons as they brushed aside Newport County at Stadium MK, winning 3-0 in Sky Bet League Two. The Dons are now fifth in the league and travel to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday in a lunchtime kick-off.

Swindon Town travelled to second-place Stockport County in League Two and earned a credible 0-0 draw at Edgeley Park. Conor McCarthy started the game and played the full 90 minutes for the Robins.

Buxton FC suffered a narrow defeat to Darlington in the Northern Premier League, losing 2-1 at Blackwell Meadows. Joe Ackroyd played the full game for the Bucks.

Kieren Flavell featured in a 4-0 loss for Bradford Park Avenue as they took on Marine in the Northern Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Oli Shaw came off the bench with six minutes to go at Fir Park for Motherwell against Celtic with the scores at 1-1, before the Scottish champions went on to score two goals in added time to keep up the pace in the Scottish Premiership with Rangers.

Returning from injury, Andy Dallas came off the bench just after the hour mark for Oldham Athletic at Kidderminster, but the hosts hung on for a 2-1 victory in the National League.

Paul Cooper wasn't in action this weekend after Ashton United's game with Lancaster City was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The Robins travel to Matlock Town this Saturday in the Northern Premier League.

Kacper Lopata didn't feature for Port Vale in their defeat at home to Lincoln City, whilst Jack Shepherd wasn't involved for Cheltenham Town as they drew 1-1 at Wigan Athletic in League One.
