LOAN ROUND UP | 10.02.24

A summary of how our Reds out on loan performed last weekend!

MK Dons returned to winning ways against Accrington Stanley on Saturday in Sky Bet League Two, scoring in the last minute at Stadium MK. Kyran Lofthouse was named in the starting XI by Mike Williamson and won Player of the Match.

Jack Shepherd was part of a Cheltenham Town defence that kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Cambridge United at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium in Sky Bet League One.

Kacper Lopata made his Port Vale debut against Stevenage at Vale Park, before having to be substituted in the 65th minute due to injury. The Valiants rescued a point in the eighth minute of added time via a Funso Ojo penalty to make it 2-2.

Swindon Town were held to a point in a 1-1 draw against Salford City in League Two at the County Ground. Conor McCarthy played the full ninety minutes for the Robins.

Kieren Flavell pulled off a string of impressive stops to keep a clean sheet in Bradford Park Avenue's 2-0 win over Workington AFC. The three points now mean the West Yorkshire outfit sit 19th in the Northern Premier League.

Joe Ackroyd and Andy Dallas both saw their games fall victim to the wet weather we experienced last week. Oldham Athletic were set to host Bromley in the National League, whilst Buxton were set to travel to Blyth Spartans in National League North.

Oli Shaw and Callum Styles are continuing their recovery from their respective illnesses and weren't involved for Motherwell and Sunderland respectively.

Good luck to all of the Reds out on loan!
