Barnsley Football Club is pleased to announce the loan signing of Conor Grant until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent in the summer.
The central midfielder arrives at Oakwell from MK Dons for the remainder of the 23/24 campaign.
The 22-year-old was named the Dons’ Young Player of the Season following his maiden season at Stadium MK.
Representing the Republic of Ireland at youth level, Grant becomes our third addition of the transfer window and will begin work with the squad immediately.
Interim Director of Football, Bobby Hassell, said: “Conor Grant will add different qualities to our attacking midfield options having played regularly in the EFL for Rochdale and MK Dons.
“The Club have monitored Conor closely over the last couple of years and we’re excited for him to join the squad for the remainder of the season with an option to extend his stay further.”
On signing for the Reds, Grant expressed his eagerness in getting to work:
"I'm really happy. I've had conversations with the manager over the last day or two and they went really well. It's something that I wanted to be a part of."
