After putting pen to paper for the Reds, our latest recruit Josh Earl spoke to iFollow Barnsley about starting life at Oakwell.
Our new defender has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Reds, arriving from fellow Sky Bet League One outfit Fleetwood Town.
The long-term contract is ideal for Earl, providing the stability to demonstrate his abilities out on the pitch.
"It's making sure that I give myself a platform to prove myself," discussed Earl. "I think this Club is absolutely fantastic at that and it seemed like the perfect fit for me playing-style wise as well. I'm really looking forward to it.
"I'm ready to go. I played on Saturday for Fleetwood so fitness-wise I'm absolutely fine. I'm ready to go as soon as called upon."
