Nicky Cadden spoke to iFollow Barnsley after the Reds’ 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury Town.
On the road, Neill Collins’ side earned a point after Herbie Kane’s stoppage time penalty cancelled out Tom Bloxham’s close range finish inside the opening ten minutes.
Our Scottish wing-back felt the Reds did enough to win the game in Shropshire:
“I thought we were very good tonight,” assessed the 27-year-old. “We had a lot of chances, to be fair their ‘keeper pulled off a few ‘worldies’. But we need to be better to try to win these games. We’re a ‘wee bit disappointed with the early goal, but we fought back and got an early point on the road. It’s a really, really good point if we go and win on Saturday.”
