We got the thoughts of Sunday's player of the match, Melissa Turton-Burrell as the Reds progressed in the League Cup.
Putting in an outstanding display at the back for Barnsley on Sunday against Bradford City, Melissa was delighted to see her side into the semi final and is hoping for an exciting finish to what has been a fine campaign for the Reds.
"All the girls put in a class performance." She told us post-match.
"I thought we were the better team but Bradford made it difficult. We knew we had to be on the top of our game and we definitely delivered."
The 1-0 win earned by solid defending and a fine Kirstie Nicholls goal means the Reds are set to face Ossett in the semi final, whilst attention next Sunday will turn back to their title push.
"It’s always nice to get far in a cup run and so to be through to the semi made it that extra bit special. With both the cup and promotion both still up for grabs, we will continue improving and pushing to be the best we can be, as we are more than capable of achieving everything still possible and this was apparent in this display."
