We caught up with the goalscoring midfielder following Sunday's win in Northumberland.
Giving the Reds an early lead, Victoria Chincharo was impressive at the heart of Barnsley FC Women's midfield yesterday afternoon against Alnwick Town Ladies.
Helping her side to an important three points, she felt it was a great yardstick for the progress made by the Reds, having met their hosts in game one of this 23/24 season.
Vic told us: "We feel like as a team, we had a point to prove against Alnwick after our first performance against them at the beginning of the season. Everyone’s massively improved in terms of fitness and confidence since that game and we know we’ve put the work in on and off the pitch to be able to come away with a win!"
With the league title in their sights as well as a cup final to contest, these are exciting times for the Reds and Chincharo can't wait to get back out there and fight for both trophies.
"We are massively focused on the league but are taking each game as it comes. The attitude throughout the team is positive, we back each other 100% and everyone puts their body on the line!"
