It was a night to remember for Hungary and Reds midfielder Callum Styles, with the Magyars beating Serbia in Belgrade.
A result that sees the Hungarians top of their qualifying group ahead of next summer's major championships, Styles played 90 minutes tonight.
Despite falling behind inside 10 minutes when Attila Szalai put the ball into his own net, Hungary fought back to claim all three points.
Centre forward Barnabas Varga drew them level on the half-hour mark before Willi Orbán grabbed the winner, up from the back before half time.
It was a feisty affair, and the hosts pushed hard in the latter stages, but Hungary held out and now sit three points ahead of their nearest rivals in the race for top spot in Group G.
