The striker spoke to iFollow Barnsley after a 1-0 defeat to Blackpool at Oakwell in Sky Bet League One.
One goal was enough to see the Tangerines return to Lancashire with all three points, a first-half penalty converted by Jordan Rhodes.
The game also marked the first time this season that the Reds have failed to score against an opponent, adding to the disappointment of our number nine.
"Frustrating is the word to use today. On reflection, I think Blackpool have come here and done a job on us. To get the goal early on and they've held on to it throughout the game. I feel like we've done more than enough to get something out of the game. Whether that's one goal or even two goals.
"We were just lacking that clinical edge today which is disappointing because we've had that this season. We've scored goals this season so far so to shoot a blank today is disappointing. Especially for the forward line, like myself."
