Neill Collins spoke to iFollow Barnsley following our 2-2 with Fleetwood Town at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds fought back from behind twice after a Junior Quitirna double to earn a point against the Cod Army courtesy of Devante Cole and Corey O'Keeffe.
In what was a lively affair at Oakwell, Collins tried to process his thoughts when asked his take on the game.
"Those are the kind of games where you have a lot of mixed emotions," began the gaffer. "I'm so pleased the players got their reward with the equaliser, I really thought we'd then go on and win it. When you look at the performance overall, it's a performance that would generally win the game nine games out of ten. But I think as a club we need to be happy with the result. The players have shown they went right to the last whistle. We wouldn't expect anything else but we have to have that mentality that we're never beaten.
"We're going to always go for the win. We did that. Didn't quite get it today, but we're definitely moving in the right direction. We'd have all liked another two goals on our tally but we'll try and make that up somewhere else in the season."
