Bayley McCann gave his post-match reaction to iFollow Barnsley after our young Reds defeated Carlisle United 5-1 in the FA Youth Cup first round on Tuesday night.
The 17-year-old started the cup tie and was on target just after the restart, half-volleying home to put Nicky Eaden's side in the lead.
McCann was pleased with the team's performance as well as his personal showing in Cumbria, finishing the game in a different position to what he's normally accustomed to.
"I thought we were brilliant," began the Reds youngster. "Everyone was excellent. I thought myself, I was really good. Even going into the back three for the last ten, fifteen minutes, I thought it was a challenge and something new that I have to deal with."
