The goal came in the capital and was a second half equaliser in response to a first-half penalty converted by Leyton Orient forward, Joe Pigott.
Kane picked up the ball from Devante Cole a long way out from goal, the Bristolian trying his luck from range. The ball flew towards the top right-hand corner, cannonning off the underside of the bar and bouncing over the line.
The 24-year-old spoke of the timing of the strike in context to the game at Brisbane Road: "It was a good goal! It was an important goal at the time which makes it a bit better. I'm very pleased to win it."
