Scoring the goal that sent the Reds to Wembley, Liam Kitching was full of smiles when talking to iFollow Barnsley.
The defender's goal in the 24th minute broke the deadlock at Oakwell and gave the Reds the advantage in the tie, the scores being level coming into the second leg.
Kitching was part of the backline that secured our 18th clean sheet of the season, the result sending Barnsley to Wembley for the third time in 7 years.
The 23-year-old beamed when asked to describe his emotions about a trip to the national stadium next Monday.
"It feels amazing!" Kitch grinned. "I think we were fantastic for ninety-plus minutes tonight. All the lads, even the lads coming off of the bench - exceptional. Knew the game plan to a tee. Clean sheet and a 1-0 win."
