As voted for by the fans, Herbie Kane is the winner of April's Player of the Month award.
In association with NG Decor, the midfielder is the victor of April's accolade following an impressive display last month.
Kane kicked off with a goal in our emphatic 5-0 victory over Morecambe, scoring our third of the game with a pinpoint strike from the edge of the area.
The number eight also played the role of creator, cleverly stepping over the ball, allowing Devante Cole to slide home in the same clash against the Shrimps.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on iFollow Barnsley, Kane recognised the fans' support whilst acknowledging the consistency of his performances.
"Yeah, I'm really happy to receive the award," said Kane. "I've enjoyed this month, out playing, but not so much some of the results, but, I've enjoyed playing out on the pitch and it's pleasing that the fans recognise the hard work that I put in."
