3 March 2023

Sponsored by

You can vote for your February Goal of the Month!

By placing your vote, you can be in the mix to win a 23/24 Season Ticket and be a part of the momentum that is building at Oakwell.

There were some absolute stunners over the past few weeks, and we've narrowed it down to six for you to choose from. It wasn't easy!

In association with ngdecor, choose your favourite from the candidates below and cast your vote via the link at the end of the article.

GOAL A – JORDAN WILLIAMS vs CAMBRIDGE UNITED
Down to 10 men, but a goal ahead, the Reds were in the ascendancy thanks to a vociferous Oakwell crowd and eventually put daylight between themselves and the U’s when Jordan Williams dispatched a stunning volley into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

GOAL B – LUCA CONNELL vs PORT VALE
From Burslem, with love. Our Valentine’s Night clash at Vale Park was barely underway when Luca Connell expertly chested a loose ball down before crashing an unerring volley into the top corner to set us on our way to three points.

GOAL C – JAMES NORWOOD vs CHELTENHAM TOWN
Perhaps not the most spectacular on this marvellous list, but more than worthy of a nomination because of the incredible build-up play that saw the Reds exchange 18 passes from back to front before James Norwood eventually fired confidently into the bottom corner. It truly was just like watching Brazil!

GOAL D – HERBIE KANE vs CHELTENHAM TOWN
Kudos to anyone who catches a half-volley as sweet as this with their weaker foot. After the Robins only half-cleared a corner to the edge of the box, Herbie Kane was on hand to rifle the ball into the top corner with magnificent accuracy to double our lead.

GOAL E – ADAM PHILLIPS vs CHELTENHAM TOWN
A rare free-kick contender in our Goal of the Month award, and this was absolutely sublime from Adam Phillips, who is in red hot form. The midfielder took aim 25-yards from goal and whipped it over the wall and into the top corner. Bend it like Beckham? Ping it like Phillo!

GOAL F – ADAM PHILLIPS vs DERBY COUNTY
Another exquisite, free-flowing move from the Reds that was finished with aplomb our midfield maestro. After intricate play in our own third, Herbie Kane hit a tremendous diagonal for James Norwood, who laid it back for Jordan Williams to tee up Adam Phillips for a sweeping first time finish from 20-yards.

Good luck picking a winner from that list!
