MICHAEL DUFF ON PENDING WYCOMBE CLASH

16 March 2023

Our Head Coach spoke to the assembled media at Oakwell this morning ahead of Saturday's away visit to Wycombe Wanderers in Sky Bet League One.

ON INJURIES

"Robbie came through the game OK. As far as we're aware there are no issues there. That was a pre-meditated one - in terms of him playing 45 minutes. He wanted to do more, which is good, but that's all he needed.

"We're hoping Brad will be involved this weekend. He's done quite a bit of training. We'll see where he is today, but there's a chance he'll be involved at the weekend."

ON IPSWICH POSTPONEMENT

"It doesn't bother me. It is what it is. We're in the middle of a tough run, you can spin it whichever way you want to spin it. It's another game and we'll play it whenever we get to play it."

ON WYCOMBE WANDERERS

"Wycombe will be a tough game, we know that. That's not just me rolling out lines - they beat us 3-0 at our place. They were in the Championship last year. They've done well in this division in the last few years. They're not 'little Wycombe'.

"They've been on a good run. You look at the run we've been on, we were sixth for a long time and they were on our tails the whole time."

ON MATT BLOOMFIELD

"I know Matt really well. I did my management diploma at the LMA with him. I got to know him personally, really well. He's a really good guy. Deep thinker, and emotionally intelligent - he gets it. We know that we'll have to be at it."
