Our Head Coach spoke to iFollow Barnsley after the Reds defeated Plymouth Argyle 3-0 at Oakwell on Saturday.
The victory made it ten games unbeaten now in Sky Bet League One, on what was another impressive afternoon for the Reds.
We found the breakthrough on the hour mark, with Adam Phillips making it four goals in six games by arrowing home from the edge of the area.
Mads Andersen doubled our lead on 77 minutes, thumping a header past Burton in the Pilgrims' goal after a pinpoint cross by Bobby Thomas from the right.
The day was capped off in fantastic style, Nicky Cadden whipping a free-kick into the top corner in added time to make it three.
The gaffer spoke of how adjustments made during the break helped change the Reds' fortunes in the second period.
"It probably wasn't a three nil game. I thought we deserved to win. The first half was nip and tuck. We looked a little anxious in moments, trying to find the final pass a little too quickly.
"We got them in at half time, tweaked a couple of things. Survived a scare in the first minute. From that moment onwards I thought we got on the front foot, showed some really good quality and scored three goals."
