FURTHER NEWS ON BETH SEFTON

20 March 2023

We have received an update on the progress of our Head of Ticketing here at Oakwell.

Nearly a month since being rushed into hospital for emergency, life-saving surgery, Beth Sefton continues to fight - her husband, Kieron has again provided us with a few details that we are happy to share with the fanbase.

"It has been four weeks now since Beth was taken into hospital. She is in Barnsley Hospital now, she's awake and breathing on her own, and speaking.

"This is just the beginning of a lengthy rehabilitation period but she is making good progress every day and we are all feeling more positive about the future.

"We are truly appreciative for the wonderful support shown to us by the club, the fans and those at Red All Over who kindly organised a fundraiser for Beth.

"Truly, a huge thank you to everyone who has shared messages of support, donated to the Just Giving page, sang at games or shone a light at Oakwell.

"We also can't thank enough the hard working NHS staff who provide not just necessary medical intervention but real care, comfort, respect and emotional support to those in need.

"We know how much the club means to Beth and how much all the support shown will move her once she is better."

For those who'd like to donate to Beth's fundraiser, there are five days remaining on the Just Giving page - the link is HERE.
