The 22-year-old sat down to speak to the press at Oakwell ahead of the Reds' Sky Bet League One meeting at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
ON MOOD IN THE CAMP
"It's good. Everyone's positive, as you can imagine. We're on a good run, so the mood is as you'd expect. High and in good spirits!
"Lots of things have contributed. Goals, good performances, good spirits, good togetherness. There's a lot of things that factor into good performances and wins."
ON LEAGUE POSITION
"It definitely gives you something to work towards. With you being the team that's chasing, you haven't got, I suppose, as much pressure as the team that has to hold onto that position.
"The gaffer talks a lot about not looking into league positions. It's more the next game, winning the next game and putting the performances in. It gives you a better chance to move up to the next spot."
ON PERSONAL PERFORMANCES
"I feel like I'm playing well - with a lot of freedom. The lads around me are making it a lot easier, scoring loads of goals and not conceding a lot! I'm enjoying my football.
"I don't really base myself on scoring goals. Assists or goals, however they come, if I can contribute then it's a bonus."
ON WORKING UNDER MICHAEL DUFF
"I'm enjoying it. I had him when I was a little bit younger in the U23s. It's good, I'm enjoying it. He's a good person to learn from.
"He knows the game. He knows the position and how I need to play it. He's played at a proven level so definitely someone to listen to and take on board."
ON UPCOMING GAMES
"It's the same as Derby and Plymouth isn't it. We've just got to focus on the next game, dust ourselves down and go again."
