Mads Andersen spoke to iFollow Barnsley after scoring and keeping a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday at Oakwell.
Adding to Adam Phillips' opener, Andersen stooped and headed home after a pinpoint cross by Bobby Thomas on the right.
Nicky Cadden then added to the tally in the dying minutes of the game with an exquisite free-kick from 20 yards.
"I thought overall we played a really good game. A few mistakes in the first half where we could have given them a counter, but we handled it well. We stayed on top of them. In the second half, we took our chances. We kept going and kept believing."
The final pass was not just clicking for the Reds, despite earning plenty of opportunities to attack through the high press.
During the break, Michael Duff got across key messages to his team in order to take advantage of the opportunities his side were creating.
"The gaffer said that we had to keep going and keep believing. But also that we needed a bit more quality in certain situations - not lose it to give them a counter. I think we did that great in the second half. I thought we controlled it well."
