Our teenage striker continues to make an impact on the international scene.
Academy starlet Fábio Jaló played half-an-hour today as the Portuguese U18s ran out 4-2 winners against their Australian counterparts.
The 17-year-old forward, who has enjoyed a remarkable campaign for club and country is in Portugal for a trio of fixtures in the International Tournament of Lisbon Trophy. They kicked off with a 4-2 win against Australia earlier today, with Fábio playing the final 30 minutes.
On Sunday they face Norway, before finishing off their work against England's U18s on Tuesday next week.
Used in the U18s (who were crowned National Champions) and U21s within the Reds Academy this season, Jaló also broke into the first team under Michael Duff, making a handful of appearances whilst notably bagging himself a brace in a victory against Doncaster Rovers.
With his eighteenth birthday not arriving until November, the future is definitely bright for this exciting young talent here at Oakwell.
